About Myself :

I was born in a place called Nidamanuru in Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh, India to Mohana Rao and Rajeswari. I spent most of my early childhood in North Eastern India, in Assam, Meghalaya and Mizoram where my father was posted during his time with the Government of India. (Here is the latest picture of my mother and dad) I then moved to Hyderabad and then to Bangalore. I finished my schooling from Vidya mandir in Bangalore and then went to Christ College for my pre-university studies. I completed Bachelors (Honours) in Chemistry and the Masters in Chemistry at the Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher learning. (I consider my education at Sri Satya Sai Institute of Higher Learning as the most important part of my life.) I then went to Indian Institute of Science for my Masters in Engineering. I worked at IGIB (Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology), a CSIR Lab in New Delhi as a Project Associate with Dr. S. Ramachandran. I finished my PhD with Magna cum Laude from the University of Heidelberg. I briefly worked as a Max Planck Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research with Dr. Stefan Fischer and Prof. Kenneth C. Holmes. I am currently working at Novartis AG in Basel Switzerland. My Publications
